Thinly coated with epoxy-resin powder materials, applied by specialised electrostatic spraying, Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating is used as a standard in industries where protection of steel substrate is required when it is exposed to extreme conditions like wide temp range upto 85°C in dry stipulations and harsh chemicals to protect against corrosion. Having good handling characteristics, FBE coated pipes are flexible and resistant to soil pressure. At Daksha, we assist to protect external surface of carbon steel pipes with single and dual layer fusion bonded epoxy coating as required. This external coating not only provides corrosion and chemical resistance but UV resistance too. Also, it has very low moisture permeability.
The two coating layers in dual layer coated pipe are as follows:
Depending on the application, the dual-layer FBE can also come with an Abrasion-Resistant Overcoat (ARO), to reduce damage to pipes.

Comprised of Resin & Activator, Polyurethane Coating is a 100 % solids organic coating. Due to their low permeability and high chemical resistance, Polyurethane Coatings act as a ‘barrier coating’ by blocking out moisture, oxygen, and other chemicals from the surface. Since polyurethane coatings can be waterproof and have high abrasion resistance, they are an excellent choice for application on metals, wooden floors and on top of other coatings. Polyurethane coatings are used for many different applications. The unique qualities PU Coating are as underired. This external coating not only provides corrosion and chemical resistance but UV resistance too. Also, it has very low moisture permeability.
At Daksha, this high performance plural component application is applied at high film thickness ranging from 500 – 3000 microns. Our PU Coating provides exceptional, long term protection where severe corrosive environments and high abrasion or impact resistance is required.

Fusion Bonded Epoxy(FBE) Coating
Typically assumed as the external protection of steel pipe, Fusion Bonded Epoxy has been proven successful in the area of corrosion protection, hydraulic improvement and deposit diminution for the Internal surface of line pipes as well. FBE Coating’s adhesive properties, chemical resistance, high degree flexibility and good impact resistance are highly required for the coating of the pipe, valves, fittings and for downhole materials such as tubing and casting in oil and gas pipelines. Daksha, being the only service provider of internal FBE coating across the country, acquires latest technology to internally apply thermoset lining inside the steel pipes where internal corrosion protection or a smooth surface is required. This lining reduces friction and compression costs and provides a clean internal surface along with corrosion protection.
Features We Protect
Prevention from encrustation
Excellent chemical resistance properties
Provides smooth surface by increasing “C” value.
Frictional Efficiency We Provide
Less frictional losses because of high ‘C’ value compared to other pipe linings
Hazen Williams coefficient or ‘C’ value is 150 which stay constant throughout the life of the pipe.
Working Life We Promise
At Daksha, we promise consistent performance characteristics of our FBE coated pipes throughout the service life span

PTFE coatings (Polytetrafluoroethylene) are non-stick, fluoropolymer, high temp coatings. They have a one-coat system or a two-coat system of a primer and topcoat and have several features that make them appropriate for transporting chemical and oil. Its strong carbon-fluorine bonds adds non-reactive properties to the coating that allows it to hold against volatile and corrosive chemicals. The versatility of the PTFE coatings allow almost unlimited application to a wide variety of part sizes and configurations. This specific type of coating has the highest operating temperature of all fluoropolymers at 500°F, a low coefficient of friction, as well as good chemical resistance and abrasion resistance.
PTFE Coating performed at Daksha combine heat resistance with almost total chemical inertness, excellent dielectric stability, and a low coefficient of friction.
